— All about the Orscheln Brake Lever —

Invented in 1939, this simple, inexpensive, brake lever has become universal and can be found everywhere, including earthmoving equipment, trucks, fire engines and even antique automobiles!

It is adjustable, and features an "over-the-center" toggle action to lock brake in on position. It can attach, by means of a simple 5/16 clevis to either a rod or cable. I believe they are exactly what we need on our carriages.
